# tigris buckets share

Share a bucket with your whole organization, specific teams, or specific users. Existing shares are kept unless `--override` or `--reset` is used.

Each share pairs a target — the organization, a team, or a user — with a role. Pass `--organization` with exactly one `--role` to share with everyone, or `--team` / `--user` with one or more IDs. When several targets are given, a single `--role` applies to all of them; otherwise list one role per target, in the same order.

| `--role`, `-r`           | No       | —       | Role to grant (comma-separated for several). A single role applies to every target; otherwise each role pairs with the corresponding `--team` or `--user` |
| `--override`             | No       | —       | Replace all existing shares instead of merging with them                                                                                                  |
