# tigris organizations delete

Delete an organization you own, picked from a list or given by ID. Requires OAuth login.

tigris organizations delete [id] [flags]

Without an ID, the command lists your organizations and lets you pick one. In a non-interactive session (a script, CI) pass the ID and `--yes`.

Before an organization can be deleted it must be empty: no buckets, access keys, policies, teams, or other members. Its bucket shares and pending invitations are removed with it. A few more rules apply:

* Your last organization cannot be deleted.
* Fly.io organizations cannot be deleted from the CLI.
* If you delete the organization you are currently working in, the CLI selects one of your remaining organizations and tells you which one.
