# tigris snapshots delete

Delete one or more snapshots of a bucket by version. Deletion is permanent; forks already created from a snapshot are unaffected.

**Alias:** `d`

tigris snapshots delete <name> <version> [flags]

t3 s d <name> <version> [flags]
```

The command asks for confirmation unless you pass `--yes`.

## Arguments[​](#arguments "Direct link to Arguments")

| `name`    | Yes      | Name of the bucket                                                                                     |
| `version` | Yes      | Snapshot version to delete, or a comma-separated list of versions, from `tigris snapshots list <name>` |
